Polish Olympic Committee Stands by Zondacrypto Sponsorship Deal

The Polish Olympic Committee (PKOI) has reaffirmed its sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency trading platform Zondacrypto, despite controversy surrounding the company's financial stability and alleged ties to the Russian government.

According to PKOI chief Radosław Piesiewicz, there are no grounds for terminating the contract as long as Zondacrypto meets its obligations under the agreement. He made this statement following reports of liquidity issues and accusations that the company has connections to the Kremlin.

Zondacrypto has been at the center of a political storm in Poland, with allegations of financial troubles, unfulfilled payments to athletes, and lobbying efforts against cryptocurrency regulations. The company's CEO has refuted claims of liquidity problems, attributing them to misunderstandings about the cryptocurrency market.
