Cryptocurrency Expert Hesitates on Buying Bitcoin Due to Economic Conditions

A cryptocurrency expert with a track record for being knowledgeable about market trends has revealed his thoughts on the current state of the cryptocurrency market.

Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, recently shared his perspective on the market in an interview. He stated that he is not currently investing in Bitcoin due to the current economic conditions.

Hayes explained that the increase in money supply that often accompanies wartime spending is not currently happening. The Federal Reserve has not indicated any plans to expand the money supply, and the current inflation rate is below the target of 2%.

This means that interest rate cuts are less likely, which contradicts Hayes' belief about when it would be a good time to buy Bitcoin. He believes that a return of monetary easing by the Federal Reserve would justify buying the cryptocurrency.
