AMF Warns French Public About Unauthorized Crypto Entities

France's Financial Markets Authority (AMF) has issued a warning to the public about several unauthorized crypto entities operating in France. The AMF has added 16 new websites to its list of unauthorized websites offering crypto-assets or digital asset services since the beginning of this year.

The list includes aurum.foundation, capstellar.fr, and ligne-stable.com/trade-gpt4, among others. These entities are not authorized to operate in France, and the AMF advises the public to exercise caution when dealing with them.

The AMF maintains a white list of authorized crypto-asset service providers (CASP) on its website, which can be used to verify if an entity is licensed to offer crypto services. The AMF also updates its list of unauthorized entities regularly, but notes that it may not be exhaustive due to the constant emergence of new actors.
