Ethereum vs Nvidia: Community Divided Over 5-Year Performance Comparison
A recent data post has ignited a heated debate in the crypto community by comparing Ethereum's 5-year performance to that of tech giant Nvidia.
According to the data, $100,000 invested in Ethereum five years ago would be worth approximately $85,000 today, with a current market price of around $2,320. In contrast, the same sum invested in Nvidia at the same time has grown to $1.4 million, driven by the artificial intelligence boom that has turned the chipmaker into one of the most valuable companies on earth.
Crypto supporters have countered the negative narrative by pointing out that Ethereum's early adopters saw significant returns, with a reported $460 million in profits compared to Nvidia's $60 million. However, critics argue that this long-term growth is not enough to justify the token's current value and market sentiment.
