Crypto Market Pulls Back as BTC and ETH Fall
The crypto market cooled off on June 16 after Monday's short-squeeze rally. Bitcoin (BTC) fell by 1.4% to $65,739, while Ethereum (ETH) dropped 2.2%. XRP lost 3.5%, BNB declined 3.1%, and Solana slipped 1.2%.
According to CoinGlass liquidation data, $477.47 million in 24-hour liquidations occurred. The latest 4-hour window turned long-heavy after Monday's short squeeze.
Bitcoin ETFs saw $64.09 million in outflows, while Ethereum ETFs recorded $22.50 million in inflows. HYPE ETFs added $17.19 million, making it the exception to the overall decline.
