Binance Ditches Greece MiCA Bid, Seeks EU Authorization Elsewhere

Binance has withdrawn its application for a MiCA license in Greece and will seek authorization in another EU member state.

The move comes as Europe's Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation takes effect, with a June 30 deadline looming for exchange licensing.

Binance stressed that customers' funds 'remain safe, secure, and accessible at all times,' and that its commitment to the European market remains unchanged.
