Crypto ETFs Experience Significant Influx of Investment
Crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have experienced a significant increase in investment in the week ending April 17. According to data from SoSoValue, spot Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) ETFs drew a combined $1.27 billion in net inflows during this period.
This marks their strongest week since mid-January, with total weekly inflows reaching approximately $1.37 billion across the five major spot crypto ETF products. This includes XRP, Solana, and Chainlink funds, which saw a near 40% jump from the prior week.
The rebound in investment comes after a difficult first quarter for BTC and ETH ETF assets. BTC ETF assets fell by nearly 35% from their $128 billion mid-January high to $83.40 billion by February 27. Meanwhile, ETH ETF assets dropped 46% over the same period.
