US Plans to Withdraw from Iran, Trump Predicts Oil Price Plunge
US President Donald Trump revealed his intention to withdraw from Iran, citing a need for lower gasoline prices. At an executive order signing event at the White House, Trump was asked about measures to bring down fuel costs. He responded that leaving Iran would be key to achieving this goal.
'What I have to do is leave Iran. We will leave very soon,' Trump said. 'Then oil prices will plunge.'
Trump added that he expects the withdrawal to take place within two to three weeks, which has sparked concern among market analysts. They are cautious about the potential impact on global liquidity and cryptocurrency markets.
