Ripple Transfers 75 Million XRP Across Multiple Wallets
Ripple's recent transactions have sparked interest and speculation in the crypto community. The company transferred 75 million XRP tokens, valued at $107.25 million, across multiple wallets.
The transfers began on April 20, with the unmarked Ripple wallet 'rLB…gK3' sending 50 million XRP to the Ripple (50) address. This consolidated balance was then transferred to another unmarked Ripple address, 'rfR…8n8', which dispersed and rerouted the tokens to five different wallets.
The 75 million XRP tokens were eventually broken down into five allocations of 15 million each, with some wallets retaining their token allocation while others transferred theirs to other addresses. A total of 50 million XRP was moved to two Coinbase wallets, while 25 million remained across two different Ripple addresses.
This move comes as XRP has experienced a mild rebound, gaining 4.9% in the past week and becoming the largest gainer among top 10 cryptocurrencies. The recent transactions have been met with interest from crypto enthusiasts, who are keen to understand the implications of Ripple's actions on the market.
