Christie Slams Trump's Crypto Profits as 'Putin-Esque Corruption'

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie lashed out at President Donald Trump's cryptocurrency profits, likening them to 'Putin-esque type of corruption' during a recent appearance on ABC's This Week.

Christie criticized Trump for making $1.4 billion from his family's crypto ventures last year, saying that the president and his family believe they are entitled to this wealth due to their electoral victories.

'They believe when they came back and won this election the second time, that gave them license,' Christie said. 'That the American people gave them license to essentially go and take whatever they could take over this period of time.'

Christie went on to compare Trump's actions to those of Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating that 'this is an entitlement to them'.
