Binance Founder Warns Against Pervasive Listing Scams in Cryptocurrency Market
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has issued a stark warning to the global cryptocurrency community, stating that nearly all offers to facilitate exchange listings are fraudulent schemes.
The warning highlights the pervasive threat of impersonation scams in the digital asset market, where scammers often create fake social media profiles and email addresses to appear as legitimate representatives of exchanges like Binance.
According to Zhao, most individuals offering help with a Binance listing or claiming a personal connection to him are likely scammers. He emphasized that he does not know 99.999% of these people and will blacklist them upon confirmation.
The warning is aimed at protecting the integrity of the listing process and preventing bad actors from exploiting ambition and innovation for criminal gain.
