LiteStrategy Leads $1M Investment in ZK Innovations' LitVM
Lite Strategy, a Nasdaq-listed company that uses Litecoin (LTC) as its primary treasury reserve asset, has led a $1 million investment in ZK Innovations to support the development of LitVM.
LitVM is building a zero-knowledge Layer-2 platform for Litecoin, which aims to bring smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenized real-world assets, and cross-chain liquidity to the network. This expansion could increase the utility and potential productivity of Litecoin, which Lite Strategy holds approximately 850,000 units of, equivalent to roughly 1.1% of the currently mined supply.
Lite Strategy CEO Jay File stated that his company believes 'the best way to create shareholder value is not only to own Litecoin but to help build the infrastructure that expands Litecoin utilization.'
