Cardano's ADA token has become an accepted form of payment in Spar supermarkets across Switzerland. The integration was made possible through a partnership between Cardano and DFX.swiss, which leverages Open Crypto Pay to facilitate transactions.

With the introduction of Open Crypto Pay, customers can now use their ADA tokens directly at checkout by scanning a QR code. This eliminates the need for manual conversion or exchange rates, making it easier for users to spend their cryptocurrency holdings in real-world scenarios.
