Crypto Options Expiry: Stabilizing Market Signals Positive Trend

Crypto options worth over $2.2 billion are set to expire today, but the market is showing signs of stabilizing as Bitcoin's price rebound and Ethereum's derivatives signal a positive trend.

The expiry event, which includes 26,700 Bitcoin (BTC) options contracts carrying a notional value of roughly $1.9 billion and 151,500 Ethereum (ETH) contracts worth approximately $332 million, is unlikely to move spot prices significantly on its own.

Despite this, traders remain wary of overextending on leverage, as the memory of past liquidation events still shapes how institutions and professional desks size their positions in futures and options.
