Global Police Crackdown Takes Down $542 Million AudiA6 Crypto Laundering Network

Police forces worldwide have taken down the AudiA6 cryptocurrency money laundering network, which laundered over $542 million between 2022 and 2025. The operation was led by Europol and involved multiple countries, including Australia, where authorities became involved in November last year.

AuditA6 allegedly laundered part of the ransom paid by an Australian business attacked by ransomware in 2024. The AFP said that AudiA6 charged commissions between three to 10 percent for its services, which included laundering cryptocurrency on platforms like Binance.

Two individuals, Ruslan Igorevich Tkachuk and Alexander Vladimirovich Ledenev, have been charged with criminal money laundering in the US and face extradition. As part of the operation, police seized 25 domains, over 30 servers, approximately $1.24 million in cryptocurrency, 80 vehicles, and several properties in Georgia.
