Oobit Expands Multi-Chain Platform with Arbitrum Integration

Oobit, a global crypto payments app backed by Tether, has expanded its multi-chain platform with the addition of Arbitrum's Layer 2 infrastructure. The integration connects Arbitrum users with Oobit's payment rails, providing access to over 150 million Visa-accepting merchants worldwide.

The move reduces transaction costs and enables faster settlement times, making it easier for users to spend stablecoins at mainstream merchants. According to Offchain Labs, the developers of Arbitrum, the network has saved its ecosystem over $11 billion in gas fees to date.
