Avalanche Payments Collective Unites 28 Firms for Global Blockchain Payment Ecosystem

Avalanche has launched its Payments Collective, bringing together 28 major organizations to reshape global payment systems. The collective includes companies like Franklin Templeton, Paxos, Kraken, and NHN KCP, which will support payment flows across 150 countries, 96 currencies, and 22 billion endpoints.

The Payments Collective aims to solve entrenched inefficiencies in global money movement by leveraging Avalanche's Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure for real-time settlement, integrated treasury functions, and stablecoin-powered transactions.

The collective spans industries and use cases, from stablecoin issuance to foreign exchange and merchant acceptance. Axiym has processed over $1.4 billion in cross-border payments on Avalanche, while Paxos and the Wyoming Stable Token Commission are driving stablecoin adoption.
