Chainlink CCIP Adopted by Kelp DAO After Security Incident

Kelp DAO has announced its migration to Chainlink's Cross-Contract Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) after a recent security incident. The incident, which resulted in the loss of $292 million, was attributed to a 1-of-1 verification setup used by LayerZero personnel.

The setup was identified as the cause of the breach and has since been banned by LayerZero. As a result, Kelp DAO has decided to migrate rsETH, a wrapped Ethereum token, to Chainlink's CCIP standard.

This move is aimed at improving the security and reliability of rsETH, ensuring that it can operate efficiently and securely on the blockchain. By adopting CCIP, Kelp DAO hopes to provide users with a more stable and secure experience when interacting with the rsETH token.
