Ripple's EU Win Fails to Spark XRP Rally Amid Deteriorating Network Metrics
XRP's regulatory win in Europe has left investors wondering why the token barely budged. The European Union granted Ripple a full license under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework, a significant milestone for the company.
The Luxembourg approval allows Ripple to offer regulated digital-asset services across all 30 countries of the European Economic Area. However, the market interpreted this news as a corporate win rather than a direct demand catalyst for XRP itself.
Despite institutional interest in XRP, which has been building since the launch of spot-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs), the token's price remains stagnant. The ETF inflows have flipped to outflows, and derivatives market leverage is bleeding.
