Bitcoin Price Drops Amid Trump's Doubts Over Iran Peace Deal
Bitcoin's price surge has been closely tied to geopolitical developments in recent days, with the cryptocurrency reaching new 13-week highs following reports of a potential Iran peace deal.
However, US President Donald Trump's comments on Wednesday cast doubt on the agreement, causing Bitcoin's price to fall short of reclaiming $83,000.
Data from TradingView showed that Bitcoin (BTC) peaked at $82,833 on Bitstamp before erasing earlier gains. Oil prices also saw significant volatility following rumors of a 14-point ceasefire agreement potentially coming into effect.
