Kraken Brings CFTC-Regulated Perpetual Futures to US Traders

Kraken has launched perpetual futures for eligible US customers on its Kraken Pro platform. The offering is made possible through its partnership with Bitnomial, which was acquired by Payward in April.

The new contracts are available for major assets such as BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, LINK, DOGE, LTC, and AVAX. Traders can use the same futures wallet for both the new perps and Kraken's existing CME-listed crypto futures.

This move follows Kraken's plan to bring CFTC-regulated perpetual futures to the US through Bitnomial, which was detailed in a late-May announcement. The launch lands during an ongoing effort by US venues to bring regulated perpetual derivatives onto domestic platforms.
