Ripple's Swell 2026 Unites Industry Leaders for Institutional Crypto Adoption
Ripple is gearing up for its largest conference yet, Swell 2026, which will combine with XRPL Apex for the first time. The event, taking place in New York from October 27-29, aims to bring together over 1,500 attendees and 75 speakers from traditional finance, blockchain development, and digital assets.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse highlighted the significance of Swell 2026, stating that 'this is one of them', a major moment for the crypto industry. He noted that the event's 10th anniversary coincides with real scale, institutional adoption, and the convergence of Swell and Apex.
The conference will feature programming across three stages, including main stage keynotes, multiple audience tracks, and expanded networking opportunities. Ripple has emphasized enterprise use cases for XRP and its RLUSD stablecoin, including treasury management functions for corporate finance teams.
Executives pointed to XRP's settlement speed, low transaction costs, and over 4 billion completed transactions on the XRP Ledger as indicators of network utility. The event's focus on institutional adoption and ecosystem growth is expected to drive further development and adoption of XRP and its related technologies.
