Circle Unveils USDC Bridge for Simplified Cross-Chain Transfers

Circle has expanded its infrastructure for transferring digital dollars across blockchain networks with the launch of the USDC Bridge. This platform utilizes Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) to simplify cross-chain transactions, eliminating the need for wrapped tokens or synthetic variants.

The USDC Bridge allows users to transfer stablecoins between at least 17 EVM-based chains, including Ethereum and Polygon, without incurring additional costs. This streamlined process is made possible by the automatic payment of gas fees during the transfer, ensuring a seamless user experience.
