Solana Ecosystem Sees Significant Stablecoin Influx
Circle has recently minted a significant amount of USDC on the Solana blockchain, adding to the growing demand for stablecoins in the ecosystem. According to various trackers and reports, Circle has minted around $750 million in USDC over the past day, bringing the total circulation closer to record highs.
The surge in USDC issuance on Solana is part of a broader trend where Circle has been aggressively expanding its presence on the network. In January 2026, Circle minted $4.25 billion in USDC on Solana over a seven-day period, highlighting the growing activity and demand for stablecoins on the Solana network.
Meanwhile, Solana itself has seen a significant increase in activity, with record fees generated in a single 24-hour window. The chain's trading volume has also surged, pushing near $10 billion on active days. This increased usage is likely driving much of USDC's recent growth and solidifying its position as a leading stablecoin.
