Cardano Hack Recovery Underway as EMURGO Targets Asset Returns Within Two Weeks

Cardano's ecosystem has been shaken by a recent hack on SecondFi wallet service. About $2.4 million worth of ADA, Cardano's native cryptocurrency, was stolen from 374 wallets through external attacks.

EMURGO, the core development company in the Cardano ecosystem, has begun working to recover user assets. They have completed a forensic investigation and verified wallet balances, establishing a clear recovery plan for users.

The recovery system will take about one week to build, followed by an additional week of testing. EMURGO expects to begin the asset return process within two weeks. Affected users can apply for compensation through SecondFi's official support page.
