Trump Establishes Council to Shape US Policy on Emerging Technologies
President Trump has taken a significant step in shaping the US policy on emerging technologies by appointing 13 influential figures to the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
The council, which was re-established by executive order last year, will provide advisory support to the administration on critical issues such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital assets, and other emerging technologies.
Among the appointees are Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and AMD chief executive Lisa Su. The group also includes entrepreneurs David Friedberg and Jacob DeWitte, as well as Google co-founder Sergey Brin.
The council's co-chairs are White House AI and crypto adviser David Sacks and Office of Science and Technology Policy Director Michael Kratsios.
