Japan-based cryptocurrency exchange Bitbank has made headlines with the launch of its innovative new credit card, which enables users to make purchases and settle bills directly in Bitcoin.

The card offers full credit functionality, allowing users to spend first and settle later using digital assets rather than fiat currency. This marks a significant shift towards deeper crypto integration in Japan's payment infrastructure.

Bitbank, licensed by Japan's Financial Services Agency since 2017, is targeting domestic retail users who already hold Bitcoin and want to use it for daily transactions without converting to yen.
