F2Pool Co-Founder Wang Chun Stakes $63 Million in Ethereum
Wang Chun, co-founder of F2Pool, one of the world's largest Bitcoin mining pools, has made a significant move in Ethereum. After the price of ether fell below $1,700, Chun withdrew 54,500 ETH from Binance over a 15-day period.
The total value of these withdrawn tokens is approximately $93.25 million, and Chun staked 37,400 of them, worth around $63.88 million at the time of staking.
This move signals a strong vote of confidence in Ethereum's proof-of-stake ecosystem from one of the crypto industry's more established figures.
Chun's decision to stake the majority of the withdrawn ETH reduces the circulating supply and can act as a price-supportive factor over time.
