Coinbase Upgrades XRP with Institutional-Grade Trading Infrastructure

Coinbase's recent launch of Trade at Settlement (TAS) for XRP futures has marked a significant milestone for the altcoin, elevating it to institutional-grade settlement infrastructure.

This upgrade enables institutions to execute large block trades at the official 4 PM settlement price, rather than intraday levels, thereby improving execution efficiency and reducing volatility.

In addition to TAS, Coinbase has introduced a market maker program aimed at strengthening XRP liquidity. This move is expected to bolster the altcoin's presence in institutional trading, placing it on par with other major assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, and crude oil futures.
