AI Recovery of Lost Bitcoin Wallet Raises Security Concerns

A recent incident has highlighted the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in recovering lost digital assets. A crypto user reported using Anthropic's Claude AI to recover access to a wallet containing 5 BTC that had been locked away for over 11 years.

The user shared their experience online, revealing how they gave Claude access to old college files and forgotten data backups, which the AI used to locate an old wallet file and help debug the recovery process.
