Injective Unveils Regulatory Infrastructure and Exchange Listing

Injective, a layer-1 blockchain, made a splash at its Summit in Washington, D.C. on July 16 by unveiling a slew of announcements that aim to solidify its position as infrastructure for regulated tokenized securities.

The highlight of the event was the live listing of INJ on Robinhood Crypto, which immediately put the token in front of millions of eligible US users for spot trading. INJ launched on the platform trading between $4.76 and $5, placing its market capitalization at roughly $494 million.

In addition to the exchange listing, Injective revealed that it has filed a transfer agent registration with the SEC. This move positions the network as infrastructure for regulated tokenized securities rather than just another DeFi playground. If approved, it would allow the network to facilitate on-chain ownership records that satisfy US regulatory requirements.

Injective also announced its membership in the x402 Foundation, an initiative operating under the Linux Foundation umbrella, and launched an AI Agent SDK, a software development kit designed to let developers build AI-powered applications on top of its blockchain. The network also published a MiCA whitepaper, addressing the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets regulatory framework.
