Irish Authorities Seize €30M in Cryptocurrency in Joint Europol Operation

The Irish Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) has made a significant seizure in the fight against cryptocurrency-related crime. In a joint operation with Europol, CAB investigators accessed a digital wallet containing 500 bitcoin, valued at €30 million.

Europol's European Cybercrime Centre provided crucial technical support, including highly specialized expertise and decryption resources. This collaboration enabled the successful tracing and seizure of the digital assets.
