Firelight and Sentora Bring Capital-Backed Protection to Institutional DeFi Vault Infrastructure

Firelight Protocol has partnered with Sentora, a curator of institutional-grade DeFi strategies, to provide capital-backed protection to DeFi vaults. The partnership targets institutional users on platforms like Kraken and Fireblocks that have so far treated DeFi with caution.

The integration leverages Flare's FXRP collateral system to turn XRP into yield-bearing DeFi insurance capital, giving participants embedded protection against smart contract exploits, oracle failures, and bad debt when deploying capital onchain. This is a significant step towards standardizing protection as a first-class component of onchain capital deployment.
