Mascherano Backs Argentina to Win World Cup Amid Cardano Whales Accumulation
Cardano whales have been accumulating as the van Rossem hard fork fuels recovery hopes. This move has sparked speculation about the cryptocurrency's future, but it's not the only thing on everyone's mind right now. The World Cup is in full swing, and some big names are weighing in.
Javier Mascherano, a two-time Champions League winner and World Cup finalist, recently participated in an episode of Zoomex's World Cup Edition X Space. Alongside panellists Haskell Gz, Secreto DeFi, and Miguel Serrano, Mascherano discussed the tournament and offered his insights on Argentina's chances.
Mascherano picked Argentina to win the World Cup and chose to direct the funds toward community organisations helping people with fewer resources in San Lorenzo. He also had some strong words about the team's performance, stating that they 'have played football that I don’t remember from the Argentine team.' This was a clear reference to their improved quality and consistency.
Secreto DeFi and Miguel Serrano also shared their thoughts on the tournament, with Secreto pointing out that Argentina had created several scoring opportunities in the first half but were unable to convert. He noted that Egypt's threats were 'punctual and precise' before the game turned in Argentina's favour.
