Cryptocurrency markets fell sharply on Wednesday following President Donald Trump's warning that strikes against Iran could escalate further.
The U.S. president reposted news of strikes on Iran's southeastern city of Chahbahar, saying 'This is in retribution for yesterday's bombing of ships by Iran. If it happens again, it will get much worse.'
BTC Bulls Must Break
Bitcoin slipped under $61,500 but rebounded above $62,000 overnight, while Ethereum traded within the $1,700 region despite increased trading volume.
XRP and Dogecoin sank lower, with cryptocurrency-related stocks also declining.
