The Bitcoin network is dominated by twelve addresses that collectively hold around 1.35 million BTC, representing 6.72% of all existing coins. This represents a significant concentration of wealth in the cryptocurrency's market. These wallets include major exchange cold storages such as Binance, Robinhood, and Bitfinex.

The wallets vary widely in their level of activity, with some actively accumulating coins while others have not moved funds for years. For instance, the Mt. Gox and Silk Road wallets held by government custody are stagnant, whereas other wallets continue to accumulate new coins.
