The odds for Gaethje were around +470, making his win probability approximately 17.5%. Despite being a significant underdog, Gaethje won the fight against Ilia Topuria in Round 4, stopping him via corner stoppage.

As a result of the winning bet, jack.com, a crypto sportsbook and online casino, paid out $5.7 million to Tsarukyan's camp. This is one of the largest publicly documented large-sum withdrawals in recent online UFC betting.

Dana White has stated that the wager was technically placed by a friend of Tsarukyan's, not Tsarukyan directly, which could raise questions about UFC athlete gambling rules. However, no discipline has been announced regarding the matter.
