Bitfarms' Strategic Pivot Continues with US Redomiciliation and Rebrand
The move is part of Bitfarms' strategic pivot towards high-performance computing and artificial intelligence data centers. The company has been shifting its focus from cryptocurrency mining to AI-related projects in recent months.
Bitfarms has already received special-exception approval to develop an AI and high-performance computing data center complex at its Panther Creek site, and has hired consultants Appleby Strategy Group and World Wide Technology to study how its North American sites could be repurposed for AI data centers.
The company's extensive and strategically located power portfolio remains a core competitive strength, comprising 2.1 GW of capacity across North America.
