Record LINK Withdrawals from Exchanges Fail to Spark Price Movement
A significant movement of Chainlink (LINK) tokens was observed on April 28, with a record 970,000 tokens withdrawn from major crypto exchanges. Despite this substantial outflow, the price of LINK remained steady at $9.23, indicating that investors may be holding onto their tokens rather than selling them.
The data, provided by analytics platform Santiment, shows that the net outflow of LINK from exchanges is the highest in recent days. This suggests that investors are moving their holdings to personal wallets, which could be a sign of accumulation or a hedge against market volatility.
Market metrics show that LINK's price slid by 0.93% over 24 hours, settling at $9.23. The token's total market capitalization has risen to $6.71 billion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $202.77 million. Circulating supply currently stands at 727.1 million LINK.
