Coinbase Global Inc.'s Chief Executive Officer Brian Armstrong believes the upcoming CLARITY Act could revolutionize the way US-based businesses operate within the crypto industry.

The CEO emphasized that if the legislation advances, it will allow American companies to finally build and grow in the sector. He expressed this sentiment during an interview with FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo.

Armstrong stated that many bank CEOs are leaning into crypto as a means of expanding their business, citing stablecoins as a key area of focus. They're integrating these digital assets at an accelerated pace to cater to client demands for access to cryptocurrencies.

The integration of funds through tokenization will allegedly increase efficiency within the financial system. The Coinbase CEO believes that this legislation has been crafted as a true compromise, with concessions made by both the crypto industry and banking sector during negotiations.
