Justin Sun-Linked Wallet Withdraws $274 Million From Aave Following KelpDAO Exploit

A wallet associated with Justin Sun, founder of the HTX cryptocurrency exchange, has withdrawn a significant amount from Aave following a recent exploit.

The wallet, identified by onchain analysts as the HTX Recovery address, withdrew $274 million in USDT from Aave within a 5-minute window between 19:12 and 19:17 UTC on April 18. This withdrawal occurred just 21 minutes after Aave's rsETH markets were frozen due to the KelpDAO exploit.

The exploit, which involved a Layerzero bridge vulnerability, resulted in approximately $292 million being drained from the protocol. The attacker used stolen rsETH as collateral on Aave to borrow ether, prompting the freeze of affected markets as a containment measure.
