B3 Expands Crypto Offerings with Options on Futures Contracts

The Brazilian stock exchange B3 has launched options on futures contracts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. This move expands the range of crypto-related products available on the exchange.

The new options will be traded on the futures contracts of BIT (Bitcoin), ETR (Ethereum), and SOL ($81.27 · Live) Solana. This means investors won't buy or sell cryptocurrencies directly, but rather exercise their options to hold a position in the respective contract futures at a predefined price.

Rafael Tsopanoglou Teodoro, B3's manager of Currency Products, said: 'Our goal is to connect Brazilian investors with global financial market trends while maintaining the robustness, transparency, and security that characterizes our work.'
