Litecoin Creator Joins LitVM Advisory Board as Smart Contract Initiative Gains Momentum

Lunar Digital Assets has announced that Charlie Lee, creator of Litecoin, will be joining LitVM's advisory board as a strategic advisor and investor.

As part of this new collaboration, LitVM is working to expand the development of programmable infrastructure for the Litecoin ecosystem. This initiative is backed by a group of leading partners, including the Litecoin Foundation, BitcoinOS, Arbitrum, QuickSwap, Lunar Digital Assets, Succinct, Espresso, and Caldera.

The goal of this project is to bring scalable smart contract functionality to Litecoin without compromising its core principles. LitVM's architecture adapts proven technology from other blockchain networks for the Litecoin ecosystem, enabling compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and allowing developers to build applications using familiar Web3 tooling.
