Spacecoin Aims to Revolutionize Communication Services with Blockchain-Enabled Satellite Constellation

Spacecoin, a decentralized internet network, is taking a significant step towards establishing a new era in communication services with its blockchain-enabled satellite constellation. The project aims to provide a shared, interoperable layer for the orbital economy, enabling efficient exchange of information between disparate orbital assets.

The satellite constellation will consist of small satellites in low-Earth orbit, which will be connected by intersatellite links, allowing direct satellite-to-satellite communication without routing every byte back through Earth. This infrastructure will not only support space-based data centers but also provide a neutral protocol for machines to route data and securely execute transactions.

Spacecoin has already made significant progress in its development, launching its first satellite, CTC-0, in December 2024 and facilitating the world's first end-to-end blockchain transaction through space in October 2025. The network expanded with three additional CTC-1 satellites in November 2025, enabling testing of intersatellite links.
