Crypto Market Sees Volatility After FOMC Meeting and Kevin Warsh Press Conference
The cryptocurrency market has experienced volatility in recent days, following the FOMC meeting and a press conference by Kevin Warsh. Bitcoin (BTC) dropped to $63,600 earlier today, leaving over $400 million in liquidations, before recovering to above $64,000.
Other altcoins have followed BTC's lead, with Ethereum (ETH) sliding below $1,750 and XRP dropping below a key support level at $1.20. Analysts have warned that if XRP gets rejected at $1.20-$1.21, it could lead to another dip toward $1.00.
However, not all assets are experiencing a decline, with XLM defying the trend and surging by 10% to $0.24. UNI and DEXE have lost the most value among the top losers, both dropping by 11%-12%. The total crypto market cap has dipped below $2.3 trillion after another $25 billion decline in 24 hours.
