F2Pool Co-Founder Wang Chun Makes $20 Million Crypto Purchase
Wang Chun, co-founder of China's largest Bitcoin mining pool F2Pool, has made significant crypto purchases according to on-chain data. The address 0xF42...f2b51, linked to Wang Chun, withdrew $20.67 million worth of Ethereum (ETH) and Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) from Binance in the last four hours.
The ETH and WBTC were deposited into the Spark protocol following the transactions. This is not an isolated incident, as Wang Chun has previously expressed interest in various altcoins. In April, he published a post regretting selling his SPK token early after making purchases, with the token's price increasing by 73% at the time.
However, the current market value of SPK shares is 53% lower than it was in April, highlighting the volatility of altcoins. Wang Chun's acquisition of ETH and WBTC has sparked interest in the crypto community, but its implications remain to be seen.
