Blockworks Estimates 800 Crypto Liquid Funds Globally with Most Concentrated in Few

A question was asked on X by well-known trader Ansem about the number of liquid funds in the crypto space and their assets under management (AUM). In response, Blockworks co-founder Jason Yanowitz estimated that there are approximately 800 globally. However, he noted that this figure may be higher due to a significant portion of funds not disclosing information. Currently, around 250 of these funds are active, but most have small AUM, with some possibly only around $10 million. According to Yanowitz, most of the AUM is concentrated in just a few funds.
