Ripple Launches Custody Platform for Secure Digital Asset Storage

Ripple, a leading provider of payment technologies, has launched its Custody platform, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to provide secure storage and scaling of digital assets for banks and other financial institutions.

The platform, which is designed as a modular, API-based solution, enables seamless integration into existing digital infrastructures without the need for additional third-party suppliers. It offers real-time compliance tracking through Chainalysis and leverages the HSM standard from Securosys for hardware-level security.

The Custody platform has already been adopted by leading financial institutions such as BBVA, DBS Bank, DZ Bank, and Intesa Sanpaolo across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. This adoption is driving increasing transaction volume on the XRP Ledger and growing activity on the platform.

Ripple's focus on building a comprehensive infrastructure that combines custody, compliance, and scalability is lowering barriers for institutions to harness blockchain technologies.
