Bitwise Adds HYPE to Index ETF: Token Sees 165% YTD Growth

The Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF has added HYPE to its portfolio, giving the token a significant boost in terms of institutional recognition. HYPE entered the index at a weight of 0.95%, making it the fifth-largest holding in the fund.

According to CoinMarketCap, HYPE's market capitalization is now over $17 billion, with a price per token of $67.49. The token has seen a significant increase in value this year, rising by 165% since the start of 2026.

The inclusion of HYPE in the Bitwise index was driven by its impressive trading volume and revenue figures for the first half of 2026. The platform recorded $1.34 trillion in trading volume, with revenue reaching $320 million over the same period.
