XRP Community Warned About New Wave of Scams Targeting Wallet Holders

The XRP community has been alerted to a new wave of scams targeting wallet holders. According to Wietse Wind, an XRP Ledger developer and founder of Xaman, scammers are sending fake passes or NFTs to unsuspecting users.

These fake offers are designed to trick users into trading something in return. The scammer then copies or duplicates the original offer and sells it to another user for a profit. Wind has urged XRP holders to exercise caution when receiving such offers and to never engage or accept them without verifying the authenticity of the wallet address.

Wind also shared some tips on how to stay safe from scams, including not engaging with anything that is not trusted, not accepting offers that were not asked for or understood, and using only in-app support. He emphasized the importance of verifying wallet addresses before making any transactions.
